Reed is a research support specialist currently working with the Biomedical Applications Group. He focuses on using analytical techniques and data modeling to investigate the structural formations in mouse synapses, including the neuromuscular junction and its active zones.

Reed has earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Astrophysics from Carnegie Mellon University, and has a significant background in computer graphics. Before joining PSC, he has previously worked in data science for healthcare at Pivotal Analytics.

In his free time, Reed enjoys spending too much time thinking about science fiction and fantasy media, running, spending quality time with friends and family, and cuddling his very fat cat.
