PSC announces the availability of the MATLAB Distributed Computing Server on Blacklight

PSC has installed the MATLAB Distributed Computing Server (MDCS) on Blacklight. A program or model developed on a user's local multi-core computer using MATLAB's Parallel Computing Toolbox™ can be scaled up to many cores using MDCS on Blacklight.

MATLAB is a high-level language and interactive environment that enables you to perform computationally intensive tasks faster than with traditional programming languages. It is intensively used in a wide spectrum of computational disciplines and applications.

PSC has 32 licenses for MDCS workers.  For more information on MDCS on Blacklight, see the PSC MATLAB documentation.
