MFIX Support
The MFIX support developed at PSC consists of several tools and their documentation. Please contact Kent Eschenberg (eschenbe@psc.edu) with questions and comments. All tools have been developed with open-source software for Linux systems.
These packages include stand-alone programs as well as subroutine libraries. All include installation notes in the user guide or as a separate document.
It is generally not wise to substitute files in one download (for instance, libbio.c) with files of the same name from another download as the files may contain different code versions.
The printable version of a document combines all parts on one page along with other changes. The simplified version is better for browsers that do not support the HTML standards.
The top navigation bar in these documents includes links to related locations while the bottom bar has links to other PSC pages. The table of contents, supplied on the first page of longer documents, can be reached using the "First" link in the top navigation bar.
These documents are based on the HTML 4.0, CSS 2, and other standards. If your browser does not display the pages correctly, you may wish to try other browsers:
You may notice that the file extension on most document pages is "php" or "phtml".This signifies that the PHP processor is used by our server to process the PHP code and generate HTML. Your browser will only receive HTML and need not know anything about PHP.
