PSC/Intel
Multi-core Programming and
Performance Tuning Workshop

March 23 - 26, 2009

Pittsburgh Supercomputing Center
300 S. Craig Street, Pittsburgh, PA

PSC is pleased to announce a workshop featuring advanced Intel information and techniques for multi-core and hybrid programming. Intel Corporation experts will explain the latest architectures and how to take advantage of them for modeling and simulation codes, focusing on the upcoming generation of very large shared memory machines. No experience with parallel programming is required, as MPI and OpenMP will be discussed from the ground up. There will be ample time for hands-on experience with this new material. Participants are encouraged to bring their own codes.
