Directions to PSC Offices

From the Greater Pittsburgh International Airport:

From the airport, take I-279 North/Rt 60 toward Pittsburgh. As you approach the city, you will go through the Fort Pitt tunnel.

Upon exiting the tunnel you will be on the Fort Pitt bridge. Stay in the right hand lane as you cross the bridge. As the bridge ends, bear right onto I-376 East/Monroeville (also called the Parkway East).

Proceed east about two miles and take Exit 2A (old exit 5): Forbes Avenue/Oakland.

Follow Forbes Avenue through Oakland (about .8 mile). You will see a 40-story structure on your left which is the University of Pittsburgh Cathedral of Learning.

For garage parking, go through the stop light at Bellefield and make the next left onto Dithridge Street. A parking garage will be on your right on the third block. Walk one block east along Winthrop St. to South Craig St. Turn right at S. Craig and enter 300 S.Craig on your right.

For on-street parking, go straight through the stop light at Bellefield and make a left onto S.Craig Street at the next light. 300 S. Craig is on the left on the second block.

From the South via 1-79:

From I-79 North take Exit 15: I-279. As you approach the city, you will go through the Fort Pitt tunnel.

Upon exiting the tunnel you will be on the Fort Pitt bridge. Stay in the right hand lane as you cross the bridge. As the bridge ends, bear right onto I-376 East/Monroeville (also called the Parkway East).

Proceed east about two miles and take Exit 2A (old exit 5): Forbes Avenue/Oakland.

From the North via 1-79:

From I-79 South, take Exit 59A (old exit 14) to I-279 East/Pittsburgh.

Continue on I-279; in about eight miles the road will expand to three and then to four lanes. Take exit 8A (old exit 14) for I-579 South/Veteran's Bridge.

Stay in the right lane and take the exit for I-376, Monroeville/Boulevard of the Allies. DO NOT take the Liberty Tunnels.

Again, stay in the right lane and exit at I-376 Monroeville. This also called the Parkway East.

Proceed east about two miles and take Exit 2A (old exit 5): Forbes Avenue/Oakland.

From the West via the Pennsylvania Turnpike:

From the Turnpike, take Exit 28 (old exit 3): Cranberry. Follow the signs for I-79 South from the Turnpike exit ramp.

Follow I-79 to Exit 59A (old exit 14) for I-279 East/Pittsburgh.

From the East via the Pennsylvania Turnpike:

Take Exit 57 (old exit 6): Pittsburgh/Monroeville.

Follow I-376 West to Exit 7 (old exit 9): Edgewood/ Swissvale. At the end of the ramp, turn right onto Braddock Avenue.

Proceed approximately one mile to an intersection with Forbes Avenue and turn left on Forbes.

Follow Forbes for about one mile; turn right on S. Craig Street for on-street parking or, go two more blocks and then right onto Dithridge Street for garage parking. The Dithridge garage is on the third block on your right.

Directions to the PSC machine room at the Westinghouse Energy Center

The PSC machine room is in the West Tower of the Westinghouse Energy Center (WEC) on Northern Pike in Monroeville, PA.

From the Pennsylvania Turnpike

Take Exit 57 (old exit 6): Pittsburgh/Monroeville

After tollbooth, bear left and follow the signs for William Penn Highway (Business Route 22). Make a left at the first traffic signal onto Rt. 48 South (Mosside Blvd.). Go South on 48. At the 2nd light is the intersection of Northern Pike and Rt. 48. Turn left onto Northern Pike. Approximately 1/4 mile ahead, you will see the WEC sign on the right; make a right into the drive.

From I-376 (the Parkway East)

Take exit 14A (old exit 16A) to Rt. 48 South/Monroeville.

Go to the 3rd traffic light at the intersection of Rt. 48 and Northern Pike. Turn left onto Northern Pike. Approximately 1/4 mile ahead, you will see the WEC sign on the right; make a right into the drive.
