How to measure?
Active tests:
- Probe platforms deployed throughout the network
- Send real traffic from point A to point B and measure results
- End-to-end: Don’t require cooperation of intermediate network service providers
Perform measurements repeatedly over time
Aggregate results for later use
Possibly do real-time monitoring as well
