Current vBNS Special Purpose PVCs


Below are all of the PVCs currently installed in the vBNS for special purpose applications. These PVCs are established via special request to MCI. The NLANR engineering team can assist you in making these requests.

Most vBNS usage is for IP traffic, so under normal circumstances you should refer to vBNS IP routing information. Some examples of special purpose projects include testing of ATM performance, and non-IP applications such as some implementations of video-conferencing which ride directly on ATM.
