Acknowledgment in Publications

All publications, copyrighted or not, resulting from an allocation of computing time at PSC should include an acknowledgement. Which acknowledgement you should use from the prototypes shown below is determined by the funding source that supported your access to PSC, not by which platform you computed on.

XSEDE supported research:

We ask that you cite XSEDE resources using the following text:

"This work used the Extreme Science and Engineering Discovery Environment (XSEDE), which is supported by National Science Foundation grant number OCI-1053575."

TeraGrid supported research:

We ask that you cite TeraGrid resources using the following text:

"This research was supported in part by the National Science Foundation through TeraGrid resources provided by Pittsburgh Supercomputing Center [together with any of the following sites that are applicable: Indiana University, LONI, NCAR, NCSA, NICS, ORNL, PSC, Purdue University, SDSC, TACC, UC/ANL]."

National Institutes of Health supported research:

We ask that you cite National Institutes of Health resources using the following text:

"This research was supported in part by the National Institutes of Health through resources provided by the National Resource for Biomedical Supercomputing (P41 RR06009), which is part of the Pittsburgh Supercomputing Center."

Commonwealth of Pennsylvania supported research:

We ask that you cite Pennsylvania resources using the following text:

"This research was supported in part by grant number _____________ from the Pittsburgh Supercomputing Center, supported by several federal agencies, the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and private industry."
