Pennsylvania Researchers Eligible for PSC Resources

The Pittsburgh Supercomputing Center (PSC) provides free grants of high-performance computing time to researchers from Pennsylvania who are conducting non-proprietary research. If you are a researcher from Pennsylvania, you are eligible to submit proposals for access to PSC resources under a peer review process sponsored by the Commonwealth.

PSC welcomes proposals for grants of free supercomputing time on behalf of all qualified scientists, engineers and science educators from Pennsylvania, and strongly encourages women, minorities, and persons with disabilities to participate fully in any of its research and research-related programs. As noted, the free grants are for non-proprietary research.

Information on submitting a proposal can be found by clicking here.

PSC accepts proposals from Pennsylvania researchers on a continual basis. Proposals for "starter grants" are reviewed as they come in, but please note that proposals for large amounts of computing time are reviewed on a quarterly basis with deadlines of March 15, June 15, September 15 and December 15.
