NSF Cyberinfrastructure Program

Researchers affiliated with an institution within the United States may apply to use the PSC's Cray XT3 (bigben) and the SGi Altix 4700 shared memory system (pople) through the National Science Foundation's Cyberinfrastructure program.

Allocation categories

Allocations are given in three categories: Start-up allocations to explore the use of high-performance computing in research; Education allocations to supplement undergraduate courses which benefit from the use of high-performance computing; and Research allocations.

Review process
