Grant Information: Pennsylvania Program

Researchers conducting non-proprietary research at an institution within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania may apply for a free grant of high-performance computing time on PSC systems under a peer review process sponsored by the Commonwealth.

Pennsylvania researchers who qualify for an NSF Cyberinfrasture grant are encouraged to apply through that program instead.

Grant categories

Grants are given in two categories: starter grants, as a precursor to a larger request or to exploit unique architectural capabilites of a machine, and production grants for large amounts of computing time.

Proposal deadlines

PSC accepts proposals from Pennsylvania researchers on a continual basis, and reviews proposals as they come in.
