RasMol
RasMol is a molecular graphics program intended for the visualisation of proteins, nucleic acids and small molecules. The program is aimed at display, teaching and generation of publication quality images.
Installed on: the Opteron Cluster.
Opteron
- Version: 2.7.3
- Usage: Load the rasmol module and then start rasmol.
module load rasmol rasmol [-script <filename>]
- Examples:
- Vitamin-B12.pdb: PDB file for vitamin B12, from Dr. David Woodcock's Molecular Models site. Open it with RasMol as an example of a moderately complex organic molecule.
- gcg10.pdb: PDB file for a DNA fragment.
