HSM Golem Extended Maintenance April 1 - 3

Monday, March 24:

PSC will be upgrading the archiver hardware, Golem, to a newer, higher
performance system.   We expect Golem to be unavailable from 10pm
April 1 to 6pm April 3.  Users will not notice any difference in using
the archiver or accessing their files after this upgrade.

If you anticipate needing files from Golem during the upgrade, please
let us  know by sending mail to REMARKS@PSC.EDU and we can help you
stage your files to an alternate area where they will be available to
you.  If you need to store files during this period, we will make
space available to you as well.


We apologize for this inconvenience, but we expect you will notice a
faster, more reliable archiver following the upgrade.
