Remembering David through photos
David filled his personal web page with his art, intellect and humor.
I first met David Deerfield when Phil Andrews invited me to the PSC for an interview, summer ‘93. David was one of five that interviewed me that day and recommended me to Phil. Thus we can blame him for helping to bring me here. Among the staff, and those I’ve worked with in the CG field, I could always rely on his enthusiasm and support, as well as his forgetfulness and over-scheduling. He even helped talk me out of offers I received during PSC’s insecure times in 96-98. He made great pictures and movies and I’ll miss him but will remember his energy so he’ll always be a part of this place.
