PSC: Biomedical Supercomputing Initiative The Protein Structure Database (PSdb)

Welcome to the Protein Structure Database home page.

The Protein Structure Database (PSdb), is a protein database, dervived from the information available in the Protein Databank and NRL-3D database, that relates secondary (e.g. Helix, Sheet, Turn, Random Coil) and tertiary information (e.g. Solvent accessibility, internal relative distances, and ligand interactions) to the primary structure.

Also available is PSdbView, a Java based vizualization tool for viewing PSdb entries. PSdbView is available on-line or may be downloaded for use locally. (Note: Java enabled browser or local Java interpretter required)

The PSdb currently consists of 1191 protein entries.
